Carrie Fisher's Mother Debbie Reynolds Hospitalized In Los Angeles

Debbie Reynolds has been hospitalized just one day after the death of her daughter, Carrie Fisher.

Two law enforcement sources told NBC News on Wednesday that the Hollywood legend was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after having trouble breathing.

The sources could not provide further details about the state of Reynolds’ health or what may have prompted the situation, citing the need for a full medical examination.

LA City Fire confirmed that paramedics responded to a call in the Coldwater Canyon neighborhood just after 1 PM PT, and transported an “adult female” in “fair to serious condition” to the facility.

Reynolds took to Facebook the previous day to share her gratitude for the outpouring of fan support and condolences following the news of Fisher’s passing.

“Thank you to everyone who has embraced the gifts and talents of my beloved and amazing daughter. I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers that are now guiding her to her next stop,” she wrote.
