Fyre Festival was billed to be a luxury festival on an island in the Bahamas, but dire organisation and financial mismanagement resulted in the event being swiftly abandoned. The festival’s creator, Billy McFarland, is currently serving a six year prison term for defrauding investors in connection to the festival.
